Invited up to London yesterday to have a tour of the Palace of Westminster – and what a fab day out. Got to wander among the seats in the House of Commons and House of Lords and see Pugin at his best. More impressive than I imagined, especially after hearing about the ‘crumbling state of the place’ – you’d not immediately notice, despite the sounds of hammering. As an added and really unexpected bonus caught a glimpse of the Dalai Lama!
