Took advantage of the lovely weather this week for a trip down to Somerset – to the small, picturesque town of Bruton where many moons ago the author John Steinbeck (Grapes of Wrath, Of Mice and Men etc…) spent some time living and writing. After a great lunch in the uber-trendy Chapel, visited the Hauser & Wirth art gallery just outside the town where I came upon this unusual sculpture of a tree by S Gupta made up of a load of pots and pans – I don’t know its title but it looked great in the bright sunlight.
